What is this precious love and laughter
Building in our hearts?
It is the glorious sound
Of a soul waking up! ----Hafiz
The familiar grove of old oaks reminds us of living beyond the tic toc devices that urge us to be on time. The curves of limbs shaped through season after season show the effects of ‘long’ cycles that build resilience, strength, and beauty.
Bird songs of awakening surround the budding, blooming and ground popping up with greenery. Celebrations abound even as autumn lessens its grip on life halfway around the planet in the dance of an even larger cycle of both birth and decay.
Evidence that duality is but an illusion of our conflicted minds.
The Sun Never Says
Even after all this time
The Sun never says to the Earth,
“you owe me”.
Look what happens with a love like that.
It lights the whole sky.
Lovely, DuAnne! As I was wondering today, when exactly Spring would arrive, I learned it arrives tomorrow, Thursday the 19th of March. Enjoy the equinox.
